HC Deb 26 July 1927 vol 209 c1013
33. Mr. GILLETT

asked the Minister of Transport whether his attention has been called to the recent prolonged stoppages in the London tubes and the discomfort inflicted on the passengers by the want of sufficient air; and whether he will take steps with a view to seeing what can be done to improve the ventilation?

Colonel ASHLEY

I am in communication with the London Electric Company with regard to the question of the ventilation of tube railways.
