asked the Prime Minister if his attention has been drawn to the Report of the Estimates Committee; and, what action the Government propose to take in the matter?

Mr. CHURCHILL

The Report of the Estimates Committee was only delivered at the Vote Office on Tuesday last. The numbers now in different places. If a man fell ill and became a hospital case, he would leave his unit and would be sent to hospital to Wei-hai-wei or Shanghai. The numbers are constantly shifting. In any answer which I give, I have to be exact, and therefore I prefer to give it in units.
