asked the Minister of Agriculture the number of cases of foot-and-mouth disease that have been notified from the Staffordshire district, and the number of cattle slaughtered in consequence?

Two outbreaks of foot-and-mouth disease have been confirmed on adjacent premises near Tamworth, Staffordshire, on the 7th and 10th of July. Thirty-seven cattle and one pig were slaughtered in consequence.
