§ Mr. McNEILLThe final figures for 1926–27 are not yet available. The provisional figures were stated in my reply to a question by the hon. Member for Rotherhithe (Mr. B. Smith) on the 4th April last, of which I am sending my hon. Friend a copy. For 1927–28 the Northern Ireland contribution to Imperial expenditure has been provisionally fixed at £1,400,000 and the statutory payments in respect of land purchase annuities, provision of buildings, and equalisation of the burden of unemployment insurance are estimated at £1,486,000.
