For the purpose of co-operating with any local authority preparing a town planning scheme under the Town Planning Act, 1925, or with the responsible authority for any town planning scheme made under that Act, the Commissioners of Crown Lands may, subject to the approval of the Treasury, enter into agreements with respect to any Crown land adjacent to land included or proposed to be included in the scheme, for securing that the Crown land shall, so far as may be provided by any such agreement, be laid out, and used in conformity with the general objects of the scheme.—[Mr. Guinness.]

I beg to move, "That the Clause be read a Second time."

This Clause has been brought in response to an appeal from hon. Members opposite and is to deal with the possibility of town-planning schemes applying to Crown lands.
