asked the Secretary of State for Foreign Affairs how many conferences at which His Majesty's Government was represented for the reduction or regulation of armaments other than the armaments, of ex-enemy Powers have taken place since the end of the War; and where and on what dates have they been held?

His Majesty's Government have been represented at the following conferences of the nature described in the hon. and gallant Member's question: the Washington Conference on Limitation of Armament which sat from November, 1921, to February, 1922; the Preparatory Commission for the Disarmament Conference at Geneva in May and September, 1926, and in March and April, 1927; and the present Three-Power Conference at Geneva for the Limitation of Naval Armaments.
