asked the Chancellor of the Exchequer whether the British Government have ever held any Austrian reconstruction loan; and, if so, when was it sold or how much is still held?

The Guaranteed Austrian Bonds which His Majesty's Government received in 1923 in return for previous cash advances to Austria have been disposed of from time to time as occasion offered.
