§ Mr. McNEILLThe Inland Revenue authorities endeavour to prevent any income properly assessable to Income Tax from escaping taxation, and they are aware of the activities referred to in the question. But it would be impossible in reply to a question to explain the methods adopted to assess and collect the tax where payable.
