§ Lord E. PERCYAs the reply to this question involves a number of figures, I will, with the hon. Member's permission, circulate it in the OFFICIAL REPORT.

§ members of the special committee he has-set up to explore the provision for mentally defective children; whether it 1403 invites evidence upon the subject; and if is is proposed to publish a Report of its recommendations?
§ Lord E. PERCYI will circulate in the OFFICIAL REPORT a list of tile Committee which is inquiring into certain questions relating to mental deficiency among adults as well as among children. I understand that evidence has not yet been invited. I cannot say at this stage whether the Committee's Report will be published.
