§ 52. Mr. COUPERasked the Minister of Health whether any action is proposed in regard to the representations he has received from the Pharmaceutical Society against the practice of doctors in England and Wales dispensing medicines and supplying medical and surgical requisites?
Mr. CHAMBERLAINLegislation would be required to preclude medical practitioners from dispensing and supplying medicines and surgical appliances. I am not prepared, as at present advised, to introduce legislation for this purpose.
