§ 33. Mr. LIVINGSTONEasked the Secretary of State for Scotland whether any changes in the Scottish land policy of the Government are now under contemplation?
§ Major ELLIOTNo decision has been taken as to any change in the Scottish land policy of the Government.
§ Mr. MACPHERSONMay I ask whether there is any truth in the rumour that my right hon. Friend the Secretary of State for Scotland intends to abolish the Board of Agriculture for Scotland?
§ Major ELLIOTThere is no such suggestion. As the right hon. Member knows, notice has been given in the King's Speech of a certain reorganisation of offices, but this will not amount to abolition of the Board of Agriculture.
