§ 95. Mr. HORE-BELISHAasked the Financial Secretary to the Treasury the number of assessors and collectors of taxes (Inland Revenue) in England and Wales who at present do not participate in the benefits of a scheme of superannuation; and if he is now in a position to state when it is proposed to introduce such a scheme?
§ Mr. McNEILLCollectors in England and Wales, who number some 3,600, are paid inclusive rates of remuneration, and do not receive superannuation benefits. I fear it is impossible to hold out the 570 prospect of introducing a pension scheme otherwise than as part of a wider re-organisation.
