47. Dr. V. DAVIESasked the Minister of Health if, in his next Annual Report of the Ministry of Health he will draw attention to the advisability of seeing that analyses, under the Sale of Food and Drugs Acts, should primarily be for the purpose of detecting adulteration in the common articles of diet amongst the poor, and that, where past experience shows an adulteration of over 5 per cent. of the samples analysed of these articles of diet, it would be of advantage to the public health if a larger number of samples were analysed
