HC Deb 21 December 1927 vol 212 c503

Lords Amendment: In page 19, line 42, at the end, insert new Sub-section: (2) Where the reason for the application was due to any action taken by a person other than the applicant, the Minister shall notwithstanding anything in Section fourteen of the Inclosure Act, 1854, have power to direct by whom and in what manner the expenses of the application or any part thereof are to be paid.

The SOLICITOR-GENERAL

I beg to move, "That this House doth agree with the Lords in the said Amendment."

These Amendments, all of which except this one the House has agreed to, are technical Amendments which have been thought necessary by the Minister of Agriculture to improve the scope and intention of the Bill.
