HC Deb 21 December 1927 vol 212 c385
6. Mr. PONSONBY

asked the Secretary of State for Foreign Affairs whether he has any report to make to this House as to the result of his conversation with M. Litvinoff at Geneva?

Sir A. CHAMBERLAIN

The communiqué which M. Litvinoff issued to the Press immediately after the interview said all that there was to say, and I undertook to give no further details.

Mr. PONSONBY

Is there any hope of these conversations being resumed?

Sir A. CHAMBERLAIN

No, Sir. I cannot see any reason for resuming them until the circumstances change.
