HC Deb 19 December 1927 vol 212 cc3-4
3. Mr. SCURR

asked the Under-Secretary of State for India, whether he will lay upon the Table of the House a statement showing the action taken by His Majesty's Government on resolutions passed by the Indian Legislative Assembly since its inception under the Government of India Act of 1919, where action by the Government was demanded; and, if no action has been taken on any such resolutions, a statement showing the reasons for delay or refusal to take action?

Earl WINTERTON

If the hon. Member will consult the indices to the bound volumes of the Legislative Assembly proceedings in the Library, he will find a series of elaborate statements which have been laid from time to time by the Government of India on the table of the Assembly and which are reproduced in the proceedings. I cannot undertake to reproduce these statements afresh.
