§ Sir W. JOYNSON-HICKSThe prisoners referred to are not taken across the ferry in vans but the question whether this can be arranged, or greater privacy otherwise secured, is being considered. The prison authorities know of no occasion on which a hostile demonstration has been made against any prisoner.
