HC Deb 15 December 1927 vol 211 c2499
52. Sir MERVYN MANNINGHAM-BULLER

asked the Minister of Agriculture whether he will consider organising lectures in agricultural centres on the use and application of electricity to farming?

Mr. GUINNESS

I am not satisfied that the time is yet ripe for the measures suggested, but I will consider the question again when I have received the Report of the Conference recently convened by the Electricity Commissioners to consider the whole question of rural electrification.
