Mr. AMMONasked the Prime Minister whether, seeing that sanction has been given to legislation for indenturing native children in Rhodesia under the age of 14 years, he will consider whether it would be possible for His Majesty's Government to consult the Rhodesian Government upon the advisability of amending the legislation in order to introduce a downward limit of five or seven years below which children could be exempt from whipping or, alternatively, from the whole of the provisions of the indenture legislation?
