HC Deb 12 December 1927 vol 211 c1834
30. Mr. WILFRID PALING

asked the Minister of Agriculture whether the two unsuccessful applicants for the village farm at Horbling were tenant farmers: whether the successful applicant occupies any other farms; and, if so, how many?

Mr. GUINNESS

Of the two unsuccessful applicants one is already the tenant of a large farm on the Crown Estate at Horbling, and the other, according to my information, occupies a farm near Boston. The successful applicant is the owner of a small farm adjoining the Village Farm, and I have no certain information as to whether or not he still occupies any other farms.
