Mr. SAMUELI obviously cannot say what local authorities have passed resolutions on the subject. The only direct representation received, additional to those named in my predecessor's reply to a similar question on the 19th November, 1925, has been from the Walthamstow Urban District Council; but five authorities have included proposals in Parliamentary Bills or given notice of their intention to do so.
