§ 21. Mr. BARKERasked the Minister of Health if he has received complaints as to the scale of relief given by the appointed guardians at Blaina and Nantyglo, and Abertillery; and, in view of the distress in these areas, will he inquire into the matter?
Mr. CHAMBERLAINI have received one representation in general terms from Blaina, and I have asked that particulars shall be given of any specific cases complained of. In the meantime, I do not see any present grounds for such an investigation as is suggested.
