asked the Secretary of State for the Colonies whether he is aware of the correspondence which has passed between Mr. J. Pollok and the Government of Kenya and the complaints raised by Mr. Pollok therein with regard to his treatment in the matter of the Turbo railway contract and the subsequent action of the Government in refusing him other contracts; and whether he is prepared to grant an inquiry into the matter?
