§ Sir. A. STEEL-MAITLANDI have been asked to reply. This Convention has been ratified by the following 358 countries:—Austria, Bulgaria, Czechoslovakia, Estonia, Hungary, Irish Free State, Italy, Japan, Poland and Sweden.
§ Mr. PALINGIs there any condition in this Convention which has not been adopted, and which is already applied to children in this country?
§ Sir A. STEEL-MAITLANDI think not.
§ Mr. T. WILLIAMSAre the terms of the Convention applied to British agriculture at the present moment; and, if not, why formal ratification has not taken place?
§ Sir A. STEEL-MAITLANDIt applies to English agriculture, but not entirely to agriculture in Scotland or the North of Ireland.
