§ Earl WINTERTONNo such proposal has been received. A resolution, a copy of which I can send to the hon. Member, was adopted by the Indian Council of State on 9th February last, recommending the appointment of a Committee to examine the desirability of developing the road system of India. The resolution was accepted on behalf of the Government of India.
