§ 94. Mr. BARRasked the Secretary of State for Foreign Affairs when the League of Nations Conference on the Private Manufacture of Arms will meet; and whether he will place upon the Table the draft Convention prepared for that Conference?
Mr. LOCKER-LAMPSONIt is hoped that the Conference will meet this autumn, but a definite date has not yet been fixed. The draft Convention has been published by the League of Nations, and it seems scarcely necessary, therefore, to incur the expense of publishing it as a Command Paper.
§ Mr. H. WILLIAMSWill the hon. Member inform the League of Nations that the most powerful pressure for increasing armaments in this country comes from Members of Parliament representing constituencies in which there are Government factories?
