asked the First Lord of the Admiralty if he can state the arrangements made in connection with the French Fleet's visit to Ports mouth at the end of May?

Mr. BRIDGEMAN

A French squadron, consisting of three cruisers, three flotilla leaders and three destroyers, under the command of Rear-Admiral Pirot, will be visiting Portsmouth from Monday, 30th May, to Saturday morning, 4th June, 1927. During their stay in this country, the officers and men of the French squadron will be entertained at Portsmouth, and a programme of entertainment in London is also being prepared.
