§ 68. Mr. TOWNENDasked the Minister of Transport if his attention has been drawn to the circumstances surrounding the serious accident on 25th March, whilst on duty, to a point-cleaner employed by the tramways department of the Manchester Corporation: and, if so, what steps he proposes to take to reduce the risks run in such cases?
§ Colonel ASHLEYI have received a report from the Manchester Corporation in regard to this accident, and am making some further inquiries.
