HC Deb 04 April 1927 vol 204 c1701
89. Mr. R. MORRISON

asked the Secretary of State for War whether any further discharges of men from the Royal Small Arms Factory, Enfield, are contemplated in the immediate future and, if so, to what extent; and, in view of the fact that 1,500 men are already registered at Ponder's End Employment Exchange, whether any steps are being taken to find alternative employment for these Government employés before further discharges take place?

Sir L. WORTHINGTON-EVANS

No further discharges on reduction at the Royal Small Arms Factory in the immediate future are contemplated
