§ 25. Mr. AMMON (for Mr. B. SMITH)asked the Minister of Health whether it is proposed to lay upon the Table particulars of the Government proposals for the amendment of the Poor Law.
Mr. CHAMBERLAINNo, Sir. A provisional scheme has been published and criticism upon it has been invited from the various bodies interested; the question whether further proposals framed in the light of this criticism shall be made public in the same way, is under consideration.
