§ Mr. BETTERTONOn Monday, 15th November, there were 25,952 males and 10,534 females on the registers of Employment Exchanges in the Manchester area. Of this number, there were claims to unemployment benefit in respect of 24,809 males and 9,751 females, including claims disallowed or disqualified in the case of 1,989 males and 418 females, and others in which a decision had not yet been given.
