§ Earl WINTERTONMy Noble Friend in April last approved of a scheme submitted by the Railway Board for the future recruitment of superior staff for the Indian State-worked railways, with the object of giving effect as rapidly as possible to the recommendations of the Lee Commission. The companies working State railways have also agreed to adopt these recommendations.
