HC Deb 15 November 1926 vol 199 cc1530-1
37. Sir R. HAMILTON

asked the Secretary of State for Foreign Affairs whether he can make any statement with regard to the future policy of His Majesty's Government in relation to the manner in which the Mandates Commission carries out the duties entrusted to it?

Sir A. CHAMBERLAIN

His Majesty's Government propose in future as in the past to co-operate with the Mandates Commission. His Majesty's Government have recently been asked by the Council of the League to express their views on two specific points raised by the Commission in regard to its procedure, and after discussion with the Prime Ministers of the Dominions concerned a letter has been addressed to the League. I shall be happy to table the correspondence as a Command Paper.
