WORTHINGTON-EVANSNo steps are being taken at present to mechanicalise any batteries of the Royal Horse Artillery, but experiments are being undertaken with various types of 190 mechanical vehicles to ascertain which types of vehicle are best suited to artillery requirements. As regards the second part of the question, the whole problem of anti-tank defence is receiving attention and experiments are in progress.
