HC Deb 04 May 1926 vol 195 c191
25. Colonel DAY

asked the Minister of Transport if he is in a position to make any statement on the suggestion that persons erecting large buildings in London should be compelled to provide internal parking places for motor vehicles?

The MINISTER of TRANSPORT (Colonel Ashley)

I am unable to make any statement on this matter at the present time, except that I have been in communication on the subject with the London County Council, the authority charged with the administration of the London Building Acts. The matter is still under consideration by the London Traffic Advisory Commitee.
