HC Deb 04 May 1926 vol 195 c205
60. Mr. HORE-BELISHA

asked the Minister. of Health whether there are any means at his disposal whereby he can state the number of applications dealt with under the Widows', Orphans' and Old Age Contributory Pensions Act in any given town?

The MINISTER of HEALTH (Mr. Neville Chamberlain)

The only way in which this. information could be obtained would be by a detailed examination of all the applications which have been received. It will be appreciated that very strong reasons would be required to justify the expense which such an examination would involve.
