HC Deb 04 May 1926 vol 195 cc188-9
15. Mr. PONSONBY

asked the Secretary of State for War whether any reduction has been made in the British garrison at Kœnigstein, in the Rhineland, or any special arrangements made in that town to remove all excuse for further complaint?

Sir L. WORTHINGTON-EVANS

No reduction has been made in the British garrison at Kœnigstein. There are no grounds for complaint as to undue or disproportionate requisitioning in that town, and no special arrangements are therefore called for.
