HC Deb 31 March 1926 vol 193 c2053

Motion made, and Question proposed, That this House do meet To-morrow, at Eleven of the Clock; that no Questions shall be taken after Twelve of the Clock; and that at Five of the Clock Mr. Speaker shall adjourn the House without Question put."—[The Prime Minister.]

Mr. BATEY

Should I be in order in seeking to amend this Resolution? If so, I should desire to insert, in line 3, the words "until Wednesday next"after the word "House"so that it would read and that at Five of the Clock Mr. Speaker shall adjourn the House until Wednesday next without out Question put. I want to make a protest against this long adjournment.

Mr. SPEAKER

This Motion does not deal with the length of the Adjournment. That will come subsequently. It cannot be dealt with on this Motion.
