§ Sir L. WORTHINGTON-EVANSNo, Sir. As the personnel in question did not enter on duty a theatre of war, nor proceed outside the waters dividing the different parts of the United Kingdom, 1821 they are not eligible for the grant of the British war medal. I regret that I cannot undertake to revise the conditions governing the grant of the medal in question, which were only settled after very full consideration.
