§ The UNDER-SECRETARY of STATE for AIR (Major Sir Philip Sassoon)The recent demonstration, to which I think the hon. and gallant Member is referring, of certain flying clothing which would also keep the wearer afloat in the water, gave promising results, but a good deal of modification would be necessary before the clothing could be considered suitable 1204 for Service use. Two modified suits have been ordered, and these will be tested in due course.
