HC Deb 18 March 1926 vol 193 cc582-3
32. Mr. RAMSDEN

asked the Minister of Health whether he has now considered the recent Report of the Royal Commission on National Health Insurance; and whether it is proposed to introduce legislation to give effect to any of the recommendations which are made in this Report?

The MINISTER of HEALTH (Mr. Neville Chamberlain)

I have made myself acquainted with the recommendations of the Royal Commission on National Health Insurance, but I have not yet been able to give them the detailed consideration which they require and I am not, therefore, at present in a position to make any statement as to the introduction of legislation to give effect to all or any of the recommendations.
