§ The SECRETARY of STATE for DOMINION AFFAIRS (Mr. Amery)I have been asked to reply to this question. As I informed the House in reply to a number of question on let March last, His Majesty's Government hope to be in 422 a position to make an announcement on this subject at an early date, and that announcement will cover the point raised by my hon. Friend as to the amount for which provision has been made in the Estimates for the next financial year. With regard to the second part of the question the Dominion Governments were informed beforehand.
