asked the Prime Minister whether, before coming to any decision with regard to the suggested broadcasting of the Budget, he will take into consideration the large number of people who could thereby be interested in important aspects of national finance?

All relative considerations will be borne in mind before any decision is reached in the matter referred to by the hon. and gallant Member.

53. Lieut.-Commander KENWORTHY

asked the Prime Minister whether the Report of the Committee on Broadcasting has yet been considered by the Cabinet; and when h,; will be in a position to state the Government's intentions with regard to the recommendations of the Committee?

I have been asked to reply. The answer to the first part of the question is in the negative; to the second part, that I am at present unable to say.

Can the right hon. Gentleman give me any idea when a decision will be come to?

I should think certainly not before Easter.

asked the Postmaster-General whether the Government propose to publish all the evidence given before the Broadcasting Committee?

Sir W. MITCHELL-THOMSON

In view of the expense involved, it is not proposed to publish the evidence given before the Broadcasting Committee.
