§ Sir B. CHADWICKThe Government contract for the purchase of Australian zinc concentrates expires on 30th June, 1930. At 31st March, 1925, the date of the last completed accounts, the net loss was £1,700,000. The price paid under the contract varies according to the market price of spelter, and for this reason it is not possible to say what will he the total loss on the contract.
