Mr. CHAMBERLAINThe amount of funds, apart from reserve values, held by the approved societies in England and Wales on 31st December, 1924, was in round figures as follows:
£ (i) Sums standing to the credit of approved societies in the National Health Insurance Funds, including amounts in the Investment Account 50,000,000 (ii) Sums invested by or on behalf of approved societies 40,000,000 (iii) Cash in hands of Societies 1,000,000 Total £91,000,000
