asked the Home Secretary whether he has received any representations in favour of the removal of the limitation of licensing hours in villages; and whether he will state the attitude of the Home Office towards this proposal?


The answer to the first part of this question is in the negative; the second part does not therefore arise.


Is the right hon. Gentleman aware that the conference of Conservative Associations said that this was the best way to fight Socialism? In these circumstances will he consider it?
