asked the Chancellor of the Exchequer what are our present gold reserves; and what export of gold has taken place since the restrictions have been removed?

The gold coin and bullion in the Issue Department of the Bank of England at the close of business on the 24th February, 1926, was £143,186,170. The net reduction since the 29th April last has been £10,720,145.
