1. 5 per cent. National War Bonds of Series I, II and III carry the right of conversion at the option of the holder into 5 per cent. War Loan; 4 per cent. National War Bonds of the same Series into 4 per cent. War Loan; and 54 per cent. U.S.A. Gold Bonds into 5 per cent. National War Bonds Series IV, 1929.
2. H.M. Government have the right to redeem 5 per cent. War Loan, 1929–47 (£1,986,985,763), and 4 per cent. War Loan (£65,860,718) at any time on or after 1st June, 1929, and 15th October, 1929, respectively, on giving three months' notice in the "London Gazette."
H.M. Government also have the option to repay the 44 per cent. War Loan, 1925–45 (£12,804,441), at any time up to 1st December, 1945, on giving three months' notice in the "London Gazette."
