§ Sir L. WORTHINGTON-EVANSThe answer to the first part of the question is in the affirmative as will be seen by reference to the answer given by my right hon. Friend the Prime Minister on 15th June. As regards the remainder of the question, the revised rates of pay, which have already been announced in Army Order 196 of 1926, took effect as from 1st July.
