§ 35. Mr. HANNONasked the Minister of Transport whether his attention has been drawn to the unequal treatment suffered by certain traders under the Prevention of Accidents (Extension of Time) Rules, 1926, according to which all companies or persons owning less than 20,000 1897 wagons are obliged to secure the proper equipment of all wagons with either-side brakes within the extended period, that is before November, 1931; and whether he will take steps to secure that equal treatment be extended to all classes of traders?
§ The MINISTER of TRANSPORT (Colonel Ashley)I am afraid I do not quite understand my hon. Friend's question. Under the Prevention of Accidents Rules now in force all railway wagons are required to be fitted with either-side brakes within the same period.
